A suicide bombing at a government compound in Nigeria's northeastern city of Maiduguri killed at least four people on Thursday, residents said.

There was also a failed suicide attempt in Maiduguri yesterday, when a suicide bomber tried to blow up a mosque. Only the bomber died.
