The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State was reportedly gutted by fire on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.

Little is known about the incident as at the time of filing this report, but according to a photograph circulating on Instagram and believed to have been taken at the scene, the the building was overtaken by smoke.

The heavy smoke however seemed to be the aftermath of a quenched fire.
