Bird flu sample triggers health scare
The virus, which had raged in several parts of the continents in the last six years, has become one of the most watched by medical practitioners and veterinarians in poultries.

According to a report by Al Jazera, the trade in live poultry has been immediately stopped in the province where the bird tested positive for the H7N9 bird flu virus as well as country.

In Nigeria, Stella Ojeme, Director of Information and Communication FCTA recently confirmed to journalists that Abuja has been declared bird flu free.
However, in the early days of June 2016, Niger confirmed the outbreak of the highly pathogenic H5N1bird flu virus at a poultry site in the capital Niamey.
