Two unrelated sons have killed their parents in separate incidents in Enugu state.

The state Police Command is said to be investigating what could have led to the murders, which occurred in the space of two days - Sunday, April 26, and Monday, April 27, 2015 at different locations of the state.

It was reported that the first killer, identified as Chijioke Onyeke slashed his father’s head with a machete around 6.00 pm that day, following a yet-to-be known argument at Umuaina, Umuogboagu village, in Igboeze North Local Government Area of the state.

Pulse gathered that family members who were at the scene at the time rushed the man to St. Mary’s hospital, Ogurete, Enugu Ezike, but later died due to severe injury sustained from the cuts.
