400 recalled soldiers arrive Maiduguri in 7 luxury buses

President Muhammadu Buhari is believed to have ordered the recall of the military men.

 

About 400 recalled soldiers reportedly arrived in Maiduguri on Tuesday, September 9 in seven luxury buses.

According to Sahara Reporters source, the soldiers have been  camped at Maimalari Cantonment at the Headquarters of 7 Army Division, awaiting posting back to their various units.

''As of this evening hundreds of soldiers who were earlier dismissed some months ago, and who were recently recalled back to military, have arrived in Maiduguri today. They are being posted to the 7th Division until the time they will be posted back their various units,'' the source said.

The soldiers had been dismissed because they disobeyed orders to fight Boko Haram. They had given their reason as insufficient weapon to face the terrorists.

President Muhammadu Buhari is believed to have ordered the recall of the military men.

It was gathered that waived at civilian onlookers as their buses drove past town, with joy on their faces.
