APC senator shuns governor at Shu'aibu Yamusa's burial

Shuaibu Yamusa who was sacked by the Adamawa State governor, died in Kano as a result of diabetes.

A high delegation from Abuja, made up of Secretary to the government of the Federation, Lawal David Babachir, the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Secretary, Alhaji Mala Bunu and the three Senators from Adamawa state have shunned the state governor, Umar Bindow Jibrilla during the burial of the sacked acting state Chairman.

Shuaibu Yamusa who was sacked by the Adamawa State governor, died in Kano as a result of diabetes.  His remains was flown back to Adamawa state on Monday where he was buried in his home town of Numan according to islamic rite.

Before the burial, Governor Bindow had rushed to Numan and condoled with the family of the deceased but declined to received the APC delegations at the airport. The delegation were all indigenes of Adamawa State.

The removal of late Yamusa had pitched Governor Bindow against the 3 APC senators  and other party stakeholders in Adamawa state.

The delegation which was led by APC National Secretary, Alhaji Mala Bunu was  made up of the SGF, Babachir D. Lawal and the 3 senators representing the state at the National Assembly.

On arrival, the APC delegation shun Governor Bindow and headed straight to Numan,  accompanished by APC supporters and condoled the family of the late APC Chieftain. They also paid condelence visit to Hama Bachama, Capt. Honest Irimiya and returned to Abuja without a visit to the governor.

Pulse gathered that prior to the arrival of the delegation, Governor Bindow who was not at the airport to received the delegation, hurriedly rushed to Numan, condoled with the recessed family and left without waiting for the delegation.

Speaking to journalists, APC National secretary Alh.Mala Bunu described the deceased as a committed and dedicated leader of the party. He said even though the acting Chairman died amidst crises, he said the party has its own internal mechanism of solving the crises.

Sen Binta Masi Garba said the dead of Yamusa was unfortunate. "It's unfortunate that he died at this time." Sen Abdul' aziz Nyako and Sen Ahmed Abubakar Mu' allayidi both described the deceased  as an honest leader who will be missed by the party. "
