The former Senior Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Jude Imagwe has attributed child-suicide bombing to poor parenting.

Imagwe stated this at the 27th Graduation Ceremony of the Freedom of Bible College in Benin‎ on Sunday.

He called on parents to pay concerted efforts to the psychology, emotion and spiritual well-being of their children.

Imagwe, who was the chairman of the occasion, said the appeal became necessary to ward off negative external influences which had affected some youths.

He challenged parents to take particular interest in the affairs of their children rather than the quest for material acquisition.

He sued for God's intervention to heal the land.

According to him, "Nigeria is confronted with challenges that are alien that nobody ever imagined we shall be visited with."What happened to our morals? Foundation is very critical and that is why good parenting is very necessary.

"The threat today is that children are being used as bombers and parents must rise up to their responsibilities.”

Imagwe thanked the founder, Voice of Freedom Ministries, Bishop Abraham Chigbundu, for raising young men and women ‎for a virile nation.

The highpoint of the occasion was the presentation of diploma certificates to 51 graduates of the college.
