Ex-president urges support for Buhari govt.

Jonathan expressed his gratitude at the civic reception organised in his honour by Bayelsa government,

Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerians and Bayelsa people to support the new government for the greater good of Nigeria.

He said this at civic reception organised in his honour by the Bayelsa government on Friday, May 29 in Yenagoa.

Jonathan expressed gratitude for the reception, saying he is honoured to have been found worthy of public service.

"Having befitted so much from the rare privilege of serving, I shall dedicate the remaining part of my life to peace building in all parts of Nigeria.

"I will urge all to support the new administration to develop Nigeria and work with the state government to develop our own state," Jonathan said.
