Sule made the comment on Sunday, April 10, 2016, while speaking to journalists in Abuja.
“Let us be honest to ourselves, is the current administration responsible for the woes and ills we are suffering at the moment? They inherited them, this administration has been there for about only one year. And one good thing is that it is doing something to address the problems it met on ground,” he said.
“It is like having a chronic wound and you want it to heal, to wash it, is painful; scrape it, is equality painful; applying medicine is painful also, but unless you experience those pains, the wound will not heal.
“We are experiencing some pains no doubt but after these pains there will be ease. So with patience and prayers, there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
“I was told that the government is meeting with the major oil marketers and independent oil marketers in order to look for a lasting solution at the downstream oil sector. I am glad that this is happening and if it’s not, I urge the government to do so.
“I was also informed that fuel has arrived Lagos and it will soon be distributed to all parts of the country,” I hope that will be sustained,” he added.
