FRSC to start “Operation Speak-Out” at motor parks

Mr Philip Ozonnandi, the FRSC Commander in Ore, Ondo State, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ore on Thursday that the move was meant to create awareness to reduce road crashes.

According to Ozonnandi, most passengers do not speak-out or caution drivers when they speed and engage in reckless driving.

“Most passengers sleep off immediately a vehicle starts moving, This should not be the norm at all times as passengers have to be awake and not allow drivers to do what they like.

“We want to create this awareness so that passengers will speak out and will not be sleeping in the vehicles, ‘’ he said.
