"Nigeria will recover from economy loss in 2017," Oyo first lady

Oyo State first lady has expressed optimism in the Nigerian economy saying 2017 will see the country's economy getting a boost.

Mrs Florence Ajimobi - The wife of the Oyo state Governor.

Mrs Ajimobi made this known while advising children to imbibe the spirit of contentment, especially in the Yuletide season.

She gave the advice on Sunday at a Christmas party organised by the state government for over 1,000 children at the Agodi Gardens in Ibadan.

The governor’s wife admonished the children to be satisfied with whatever was given to them.

She also urged them to show love to the less privileged by sharing whatever they have, adding that the essence of Christmas was sharing love with one another.

” You must not see the season as just for eating rice and chicken alone, you must share whatever you have with those that are less privileged,’’ she said.

She further advised the children to take their studies seriously in the new year while obeying their parents at all times.

“I am hopeful that the coming year will be better and Nigeria as a nation will recover from its economic loss,” she said.
