Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina said President Buhari did not go to China to negotiate for any loan.

Adesian said the issue of loan was not addressed during Buhari’s stay in China.

He said this when he appeared as a guest on the O&M Sunday Show on Africa Independent Television (AIT).

The President’s media aide was however quick to add that Buhari’s China visit attracted $6b worth of investments to the country.

Adesina said “The issue of loan didn’t arise during the president’s trip to China, not even an emergency loan was discussed.

“The president went there and signed agreements that were in the interest of Nigeria. We should know that this president knows what is good for the country.”

Also commenting on the letter written by Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state, Adesina said “Every nation has a room for comic relief. If someone chooses to be so idle and be entertaining others, so be it.

"I am sure so many people laughed when they saw the letter.”

He also said President Buhari is a serious minded person who will not allow himself to be distracted.

Femi Adesina also said that Nigerians must be disciplined before order can come into the country.
