Fani-Kayode was earlier arraigned in court alongside a former minister of state for finance, Senator Nenadi Usman for N1.5b fraud.
FFK, as he is fondly called, was the spokesman of the Goodluck Jonathan presidential campaign team during the 2015 election.
He was arrested for allegedly receiving N840m during the presidential campaign of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to Daily Post, the former minister, who is the sole defendant, is facing a five count charge for allegedly receiving N26m from the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki.
The anti-graft agency also accused Fani-Kayode of violating the money laundering act.
According to reports, FFK’s lawyer, Mr. Wale Balogun asked the judge, Justice John Tsoho, of the Federal High Court in Abuja, for an adjournment.
Balogun also added that his client has not been served any document related to the charges against him.
Justice Tsoho in closing, ordered that relevant documents be served on Fani-Kayode and also adjourned the case.
In July 2016, following his arrest and subsequent detention, Justice Muslim Hassan of the Federal High Court in Lagos, granted Femi Fani-Kayode bail in the sum of N250m.
