The late Alex Ekwueme has said he wants to be remembered for his selfless services to the public when he dies.

The late architect made this known in an exclusive interview with leading Hausa newspaper, Rariya, which was first published online by Premium Times.

"Well, I cannot and should not blow my own trumpet. My music teacher in secondary school said you have to blow your own trumpet because if you don’t, no one will blow it for you until it gets rusty. But I will like to be remembered as someone who came into public office to render service and rendered that service selflessly," he was quoted.
