Dep Senate President visits Fani-Kayode, Abati, others in EFCC custody

Senator Ike Ekweremadu has visited Fani Kayode and Reuben Abati, who are currently in the EFCC custody.

According to a report by Vanguard Newspaper, Ekweremadu, who is currently the highest elected leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), paid a courtesy visit to some of the members of the opposition party in detention.

Ekweremadu's visit on Thursday, October 27, 2016 which generated a buzz in the political circuit, was supposed to boost the morales of the detained past officials that were paying same price of leadership paid by past leaders who were detained on different occasions in the leadership quest for the country.

Ekweremadu paid a courtesy visit to individuals like Femi Fani Kayode, Director of Publicity of the Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Dr. Reuben Abati, Jonathan’s Media Adviser and Senator Bala Mohammed, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory under President Jonathan.
