Former Petroleum Minister, Dieziani Alison-Madueke

Alison-Madueke, who was arrested on Friday the 2nd of October, is being investigated by the UK National crime Agency by the UK National Crime Agency on allegations of bribery and money laundering.

According to a Sahara Reporters report, the former Minister is believed to have laundered funds in the United Kingdom using her co-workers, businessmen and relatives, including Agama who allegedly fronted for her to purchase an apartment in Westminster, central London.

It is believed that Alison-Madueke was arrested alongside two other persons who have yet to be identified.

Speculations are that the two persons may be her mother and one Melanie Spencer who was also reportedly on her entourage to the Magistrate Court today.

Meanwhile, former commissioner of police, in Lagos state, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, has said President Muhammadu Buhari has nothing to do with the former minister's legal woes in the UK.
