Officials of the State Security Service (SSS), on Thursday, July 17, 2015, invaded the homes of former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, in Abuja and Sokoto.
Nigerians react to ex-NSA’s ‘arrest’
Unconfirmed reports have it that the SSS agents took Dasuki to an unknown location for questioning while yet others say he has been placed under house arrest.

No official reason has been given for the siege on the former NSA’s residences.
Dasuki was relieved of his duties by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, July 13, 2015.
