Also, Justice Peter Affen, on December 21, 2015, granted Dasuki bail in the sum of N250m with two sureties in like sum.
He was however remanded in Kuje Prisons, Abuja, since he could not meet his bail conditions immediately.
After satisfying his bail conditions, Dasuki was released from prison, only to be re-arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Sambo Dasuki has been under investigation following his indictment in the alleged $2.1b arms purchase scam.
As a result of further investigations, a number of ‘highly placed’ Nigerians have also been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
