Buhari was welcomed at the Yola international Airport by Governor Umaru Jubrilla and other dignitaries.

The president was subsequently escorted by the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai to the Colour Parade where he decorated brave war heroes with the Purple Heart medal.
Also present at the airport was former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who's giving away three of his daughters in marriage today.
