According to reports, Buhari will leave the country late on Wednesday and arrive in Berlin early on Thursday, October 13.

He will reportedly hold bilateral meetings on Thursday and Friday and is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday, October 15.

Meanwhile, Buhari has sought Germany’s help in curbing the menace of oil theft.

“Nigeria’s oil is stolen, and taken away through the Gulf of Guinea. Adequate training and equipping of our navy will prevent this,” the President said on Monday, October 10, during a meeting with German Foreign Minister, Dr Frank-Walters Steinmeier in Abuja.

Buhari further told that militants in the Niger Delta are trying to colonize Nigeria economically.
