President meets with Gbajabiamila, other Reps [PHOTOS]

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, held a meeting with House of Representatives member, Femi Gbajabiamila over the current leadership crisis rocking the National Assembly.

Buhari also met with 29 other members of the House who served as  representatives of Nigeria’s six geo-political zones.

The gathering held inside the Conference Hall of the First Lady’s Office inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Assembly was plunged into crisis following the emergence of Senate President, Bukola Saraki and House of Reps Speaker as its leaders in defiance of a directive of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which had chosen Senator Ahmed Lawan and Gbajabiamila for the posts.

Buhari was also expected to meet with Dogara on July 1 but no details of that meeting have been released.
