He is expected to meet with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel for bilateral talks during his visit and also meet with members of the Nigerian community in Germany.
Buhari will return to Nigeria on Saturday, October 15.
Meanwhile, Buhari has welcomed the release of 21 abducted Chibok girls by Boko Haram.
The girls are among more than 200 who were abducted by the sect in April 2014.
Buhari had earlier revealed that his government was negotiating with the terrorists for the girls’ release.
