However, only the president’s doctors can decide when he’ll be able to return to Nigeria.

The source, who reportedly sees Buhari regularly, spoke to Premium Times on the condition of anonymity.

“Oh yes; we thank God. He is doing very good; he is ok but his doctors will determine (when he will return),” the source said.

The president’s health challenges first came to light in January when he travelled to London for treatment and ended up spending 49 days instead of the 10 specified in his letter to the Senate.

Upon his return in March, Buhari admitted that he had never been so sick in his entire life.
