President honoured with chieftaincy title in Benin Republic [PHOTOS]

The Nigerian president was also awarded Benin republic’s highest honour, Le Grande Croix Du Benin (The Great Cross of Benin) during an official visit on Saturday, August 1, 2015.

President Muhammadu Buhari has been honoured with a chieftaincy title in the Republic of Benin.

Buhari was bestowed with the traditional title 'Manahouwhe’ Gbede' meaning, “I will never forget you”.

The Nigerian president was also awarded Benin republic’s highest honour, Le Grande Croix Du Benin (The Great Cross of Benin) during an official visit on Saturday, August 1, 2015.
