President holds secret meeting with Obasanjo [PHOTOS]

The meeting held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja and is the second of such in two months.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo

Obasanjo had also met secretly with Buhari on August 7 after a similar visit by former PresidentGoodluck Jonathan on August 6.

The visits led to rumours that the former leaders were trying to stop Buhari’s anti-graft war, a speculation which was later denied by the Presidency.

Meanwhile, the Senate, also on Tuesday, began a probe of the power sector under the regimes of Obasanjo, Jonathan and late Umaru Yar’adua.
