Buhari lifted two paragraphs from Obama’s 2008 victory speech to add to his remarks at the launch of the “Change Begins With Me” campaign.

Barack Obama: Obama was accused of copying the words of Massachusetts Governor, Deval Patrick without crediting the latter. However he defended himself by saying that he and Deval usually trade ideas and that the governor has copied him on some occasions too.
US Vice President Joe Biden: Biden was accused of plagiarizing a speech earlier given by Neil Kinnock of the British Labour Party during the 1988 presidential elections. Biden was eventually forced to withdraw from the race.
Hungarian President Pal Schmitt: Schmitt was accused of copying his dissertation for the University of Physical Education. The university stripped the president of his doctorate, and he eventually resigned after the saga.
Russian President Vladimir Putin: Putin was accused of stealing 16 out of 20 pages from a University of Pittsburgh paper for his economics dissertation.
Republican Presidential Candidate, Ben Carson: Carson was accused of inappropriately copying a number of books and online sources for his 2012 book "America the Beautiful”.
