Buhari and Osinbajo’s pay cut was announced on July 10, 2015, as part of their administration’s attempts to reduce the cost of governance.

The new ranking is according to a document provided by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The President will now earn N585, 784.10 monthly while his deputy will earn N505,262.08.
