'I'm stronger and energetic,' President dares reporter to wrestling contest

The President jokingly dared journalists at the airport to take him on in a wrestling bout if they want to ascertain his fitness.

President Muhammadu Buhari returns to Nigeria from London on Sunday, June 19, 2016.

He noted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, upon his arrivalfrom London, United Kingdom, where he went for a 10-day medical trip.

The President jokingly dared a journalist at the airport to take him on in a wrestling bout to ascertain his fitness.

“You have seen me, you saw me when I was going, you can do the assessment by yourself,” he said.

“You can see me inspecting the guards of honour, if you want to wrestle me, you can do so, but you know I’m taller than you.”

The President confirmed that he is resuming work tomorrow stronger and more energetic.
