APGA felicitates with President on his birthday

He said that the party was convinced that Buhari was a man with the mandate to transform Nigeria to greater heights.

National Chairman of the party, Dr Victor Oye, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka that APGA was grateful to God for keeping the president healthy at his age.

Oye said that the recovery of Buhari from his prolonged ailment against the expectation of “doomsday prophets’’ was a lesson that everything was in the hands of God.

“We wish to thank God for the life and health of our president who is celebrating his 75 years of age."

“We are happy for him and we wish him many more years in life and the grace to carry out his duty to this nation."

“His recovery is a lesson for all; no one curses who God has blessed. After all the negative comments, he was able to come back stronger,” he said.

The APGA chairman said Buhari should use the occasion to resolve to work for a more united, equitable and egalitarian nation.

“The president should use this grace that God has given him to work towards making Nigeria a greater country in the approaching year.

“We want him to rule Nigeria in peace, equity and egalitarianism so that Nigerians will be happier and after his tenure, his name will be written in gold,” he said.
