The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly released Gordon Obua, thedetained former Chief Security Officer (CSO) of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

According to SaharaReporters, Obuah was released around 10:30 pm on Tuesday.

Obua, who was detained by the DSS last Thursday, was earlier on Tuesday, July 21 presented at an impromptu press briefing to dispel reports that he has died in detention.
