A bomb blast has occurred in Biu, Borno State near a bus station in the Tashan Gandu area of the community.
Bomb blast hits Biu in Borno
A suicide bomber blew himself up in a crowded area on Thursday, February 26, and is believed to have killed at least 18 people.

A second attacker was shot dead before he could detonate his own explosives, witnesses told AFP.
“At least 18 people, including three women, died… and several others were injured,”Babagana Kyari, a civilian vigilante, said.
An official death toll has however not been released by the relevant authorities.
