The statement adds that the theme was inspired by the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari to make Nigeria the manufacturing hub of Africa.

The idea of holding a colloquium annually in honour of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was first conceived in 1999 by close friends and associates of Asiwaju.

The associates thought it important that the rich debates and intellectual discussions with Asiwaju be translated to a platform which will expand the conversations and lead to tangible outcomes.

This year, policy makers, innovators, IT professionals, fashion designers and musicians will be speaking at the event.

Others are Co-Founder of Wilson’s Juice Company, Seun Abolaji;CEO at Chocolate City, Jude Abaga; and the founder of an agric-tech value chain company, Nasir Yammama.

“The 9th Bola Tinubu Colloquium promises to be both informative and inspirational. As our country makes giant strides towards self-sustainability, we must recognise the many people and organisations doing their best to give Nigeria the best image possible,” the statement added.
