Two killed in army, terrorists clash in Borno
The terrorists, who were about looting surrounding villages, engaged troops in a 15-minute gun battle.

The terrorists were suspected to be planning to loot logistics supplies in surrounding villages.
The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman disclosed this in a statement.
He said: "On sighting the patrol, the insurgents engaged the troops in a shootout that lasted for about 15 minutes before they were overpowered by the superior fire power of the patrol.
"In the encounter, 2 insurgents were neutralised."

The troops recovered weapons including one Fabrique Nationale (FN) rifle loaded with a magazine containing 10 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition, one AK-47 rifle and three magazines from the terrorists.
Also recovered from the insurgents were two motorcycles, various drugs, wrappers and clothes.
