“At the final casualty count of attack, 11 (persons) were killed, with their throats slashed while six were hospitalised in Mora with serious injuries,” Cameroonian investigative journalist, Bisong Etahoben said confirming the attack via Twitter.

The town of Mora is on a shared border with Nigeria and as such has been subject to attacks from the sect which operates largely from Northeastern Nigeria.

Cameroonian forces have intensified efforts against the terrorists and recently conducted unprecedented air strikes to recover control of military barracks which had been overrun by the sect.
