The Nigerian Army has released photos of two Boko Haram terrorists who were arrested after being declared wanted.

The suspects have been identified as Abubakar Sadiq and Mohammed Usman.

This was disclosed by army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman, according to Daily Trust.

Sadiq was said to be suspect number 28 on the army’s wanted list while Usman was suspect 40.

“There is no doubt that the arrests of the suspected terrorists are important milestones which show the synergy of effort in the fight against terrorism and insurgency in Nigeria among the security agencies and the public,” Usman said.

The army had earlier declared 100 of the terrorists, including Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau, wanted.

Another suspected insurgent was arrested in Abuja while attempting to board a flight to Lagos.
