Army arrests wanted 11-year-old terrorist

According to preliminary investigation, the suspect is from Bama town and is among 4 other children trained for suicide bombing by the terrorists.

Troops have arrested an 11-year-old Boko Haram terrorist, who was planted in one of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp Dalori in Maiduguri, Borno state, for a suicide bombing attack, acting Director of Army public relations officer, Colonel Sani Kukasheka, said.

The boy, Master Usman Modu Tella, was nabbed yesterday afternoon, Dec. 1. He was one of the 100 wanted terrorists released by the Nigerian Army.

According to preliminary investigation, the suspect is from Bama town and is among 4 other children trained for suicide bombing by the Boko Haram terrorists.

Kukashekaadded3 others have already carried out their missions at different locations. The boy was expected to do the same in the camp at no-specified time.

The terrorists had invaded Gulak village on Sunday, Dec. 29, around 7pm. They reportedly burnt down a military base and three artilleries.
