7 terrorists killed, 25 captured in Cameroon

Soldiers in Cameroon have reportedly killed 7 members of Boko Haram and captured 25 others after a four-day operation.

The troops engaged the terrorists in battle in the Ngouma, Sagme, Ardebe, Dambore And Soueram communities which are located around the Lake Chad area.

This was disclosed via a press statement released by the Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary.

The Cameroonian army also reportedly seized huge consignments of weapons during the operation which began on December 6.

According to the Ministry of Communication, “the repost by Cameroon’s defence forces was rapid, appropriate and fulgurous”.

Bakary also saluted the bravery and determination of nation’s troops while urging Cameroonians to remain vigilant.
