It added that the permanent secretaries, on behalf of the staff of the office, assured the new SGF of their total commitment and loyalty at all times, and wished him a successful tenure.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that since assumption of office, the new SGF had been receiving briefings from the departments in his office.

Already, the permanent secretaries in charge of General Services and Cabinet Secretariat, leading the various heads of departments and units under them, had made presentations to the SGF.

The briefing sessions, which were on-going, would see two more Permanent Secretaries take turns to interact with the SGF, viz the Permanent Secretary Economic Affairs and Special Services, respectively.

The SGF, during the briefings, obtained clarifications on various matters that came up during the discussions.
