Minister praises Jonathan administration for completed projects
Amaechi also noted that the Kaduna-Abuja railway was nearly 80% completed by the Jonathan administration.
Speaking at a Town Hall meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, May 16, Amaechi said no project in his ministry was abandoned upon assuming office.
"In the ministry of transportation, we did not meet anything comatose. We met an attempt to bring back our rail services," he said.
Amaechi added that the current administration "realised the impact of the recession" which is why it continued the projects of the previous government.
He also noted that the Kaduna-Abuja railway was nearly 80% completed by the Jonathan administration.
However, the commendation of the immediate past administration is coming as a surprise given the resentment between Amaechi and the Jonathan family, and the hostility between the APC and the PDP.
