Ex-Governor of Bayelsa dies at 63

It was also reported that the 63-years old politician slipped into a coma on Thursday, October 8, 2015 and was placed on life support but breathed his last on Saturday.

 

Ex-Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Solomon Alamieyeseigha, has been announced dead.

According to a report by Channels Television, the politician died of cardiac arrest after at an undisclosed hospital.

The report further revealed that the news of Alamieyeseigha's death has been confirmed by the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Information, Esueme Dan-Kikili, who said he passed on today, Saturday, October 10, 2015.

According to his Wikipedia page, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha was born on November 16, 1952 in Amassoma, Ogboin North Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.
