My husband thanks Osinbajo, Nigerians for support - First Lady

Aisha Buhari has returned to Nigeria after spending seven days in London with her ailing husband and President of Nigeria.

In a report by Premium Times, Mrs Buhari who had travelled to visit her husband, who is on medical leave in London, called on Nigerians to continue to be strong in the face of challenges.

She also urged Nigerians to support the Federal Government in implementing the agenda for which they were elected.

In a statement credited to Suleiman Haruna, Mrs Buhari's spokesperson, the first lady conveyed the appreciation of President Muhammadu Buhari to Nigerians over their constant prayers and said he would soon return to the country.

“Mr. President thanked the acting President, Prof. for his loyalty and called on Nigerians to continue to support the acting President in his effort to actualize the mandate of the All Progressives Congress,” she said.

Mrs. Buhari left Nigeria on May 30, 2017 to the UK to spend some time with the President, who left Nigeria for London on May 7, 2017 for another round of treatment following his last trip in February 2017.
