First Lady joins President in London

Aisha would be spending time with her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari who is on medical vacation in London.

Buhari left Nigeria on May 7 for an indefinite medical vacation in London after months of ill health.

According to a statement by her spokesperson, Bisi Olumide-Ajayi on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, Mrs Buhari would be spending time with her husband who is presently on medical vacation.

“The wife of the President, Her Excellency, Mrs Aisha Buhari today (Tuesday) left for the United Kingdom,” the statement said.

“Her Excellency will spend some time with her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, who is presently on medical vacation.

“She expressed her appreciation to the millions of Nigerians who have been praying for his quick and safe return.”

Similarly, women from all works of life recently converged in Abuja for a one-day prayer and fasting session for the speedy recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari.
