More details have emerged as to how Nigerian Ambassador to the United States of America, Adebowale Adefuye died.

Adefuye passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015, in Washington DC.

However, contrary to earlier reports, he died in a vehicle after suffering a seizure while being driven by his chauffeur and not in a hospital.

According to ThisDay, Adefuye passed away before he could receive medical attention.

Sahara Reporters had earlier disclosed news of the death saying it occurred at an undisclosed hospital.

Adefuye was 68 years old at the time of his passing.
