Nigerians react to Boko Haram leader’s TIME 100 feature

Shekau earned a spot on the list alongside President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, #BringBackOurGirls campaigner, Oby Ezekwesili and bestselling author, Chimamanda Adichie.

 

Abubakar Shekau, the leader of terrorist sect, Boko Haram was today, April 16, 2015, named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME magazine.

Shekau earned a spot on the list alongside President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, #BringBackOurGirls campaigner, Oby Ezekwesili and bestselling author, Chimamanda Adichie.

Many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their shock at Shekau being featured on the list.
