The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has reportedly threatened Cameroon in a new video.

Shekau warned Cameroonian President, Paul Biya to stop his attacks against the sect or face the same fate as Nigeria.

AFP reports that the terrorist leader said in Arabic:

“Oh Paul Biya, if you don't stop this, your evil plot, you will taste what has befallen Nigeria... Your troops cannot do anything to us.”

Boko Haram has been carrying out attacks in Cameroon, recently killing 11 bus passengers, but the country’s army has mounted a fierce resistance against the sect.

A recent Boko Haram attack on a military base in Cameroon was thwarted with unprecedented air strikes by the country’s troops.

Cameroon suffers from terrorist attacks largely due to its expansive border with Nigeria but Biya has vowed to wipe out the sect from his country.
