“This election will not be held even if we are dead. Even if we are not alive Allah will never allow you to do it,” Shekau said in Hausa.

Shekau’s latest video was posted online on Tuesday, February 17, and is 11 minutes and 57 seconds long.
The newest video was posted on Twitter, a departure from the sect’s usual method of sharing DVDs to journalists.
“Allah will not let you people hold this election because you people are saying that “authority” people ruling each other,” Shekau said.
Shekau also claimed the recent attack in Gombe State during which leaflets were shared warning people against voting during the elections.
