Late APC candidate buried in Kogi [PHOTOS]

Audu was buried today, November 23, 2015, in the Ogbonicha area of the state despite earlier reports that he had been “resurrected”.

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Kogi State, Abubakar Audu has been buried.

Audu was buried today, November 23, 2015, in the Ogbonicha area of the state despite earlier reports that he had been “resurrected”

News of the alleged resurrection was said to have been caused by a cleric who insisted he could raise the APC candidate from the dead with prayers.

According to Premium Times, ‎the prayer man was forced into the house against the wishes of family members and was joined in prayers for Audu’s resurrection by a large crowd. ‎

Dignitaries at the burial include Senator Dino Melaye and former governors, George Akume, Abdulkadir Kure, Lucky Igbinedion and Rabiu Kwankwaso among others.

Audu died on November 22, 2015, after reportedly suffering a massive stroke. He was 68.
