APC candidate reported dead after inconclusive Kogi guber election

Though Pulse Nigeria cannot confirm this news at the time of reporting, investigations are ongoing from different quarters.

 

One of the candidates of the recently concluded Kogi State gubernatorial elections, Prince has been reported dead.

SaharaReporters reports that the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, allegedly died of undisclosed medical reasons.

The news of Audu's alleged death is coming barely three hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the elections inconclusive.

UPDATE

In another report by TheCable, the two time governor of Kogi State was said to have suffered stroke twice before his death.

Audu, who was said to have complained of stomach cramp before going to bed last night, allegedly suffered a stroke around 9am on Sunday.

The report further added that he suffered the second stroke after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the election inconclusive.
