The charges against Moro and others include money laundering, obtaining money under false pretext from prospective job applicants.

The trio were arrested yesterday over the poorly organized 2014 immigration recruitment exercise, which left about 20 job seekers dead across the country. Most of them died as a result of stampede.
Other joined in the suit as defendants are the ministry’s ex-Permanent Secretary, Anastasia M. Daniel-Nwaobia, F. A. Aleyebami and Drexel Global Technology Limited.
The total amount extorted from the job seekers nationwide in the name of application fee was said to be about N520million.
