Acting President Osinbajo to sign document at 3pm

The record 7.44 trillion naira budget was submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari in December 2016.

This was disclosed by Bamikole Omisore, media aide of Senate President Bukola Saraki, when he tweeted on his Twitter page (@MrBanksOmishore), "Today at 3:00pm Senate President will join AG for the signing of 2017budget at Presidential Villa in "

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara had confirmed the signing last week, saying, "On issue of Budget, we kept our promise to Nigerians at the beginning of the legislative session to ensure transparent deliberation and passage of the 2017 Appropriations Bill which will be signed into law early next week."

The record 7.44 trillion naira budget was submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari in December 2016, and passed by parliament on May 11, 2017.
